The animal shelter SECOND HOME invites you to an internship!
Location: Demene Parish, Augsdaugava Municipality
We are looking for a motivated intern who would like to work more closely with our
veterinarian.
We offer the opportunity to:
– assist the veterinarian in treating and caring for animals
– participate in laboratory tests and veterinary examinations
– gain experience in veterinary work in real conditions
– gain practical skills and experience in the field of veterinary medicine.
We also invite other students who want to:
– help with daily care of animals
– walk dogs
– participate in socializing animals and improving their living conditions
– become part of our friendly team
We also provide a comfortable room where interns can stay overnight.
This is a great opportunity to gain practical skills, help those who need it most, and get to know the work of the shelter from the inside.
