Gerda Needs Ongoing Support
Gerda is a dog with a disability, fully cared for by the OTRĀ MĀJA shelter.
Since January 2023, her life and well-being have been supported through the work of the shelter, a temporary caregiver, and regular help from compassionate people.
Gerda’s main needs:
– living in a home environment with compensation for the caregiver;
– regular visits to a physiotherapist in Preiļi;
– special food and vitamins;
– scheduled veterinary procedures and vaccinations;
– a wheelchair and other necessary mobility aids.
The average monthly cost of caring for Gerda is about €500. This covers all procedures, food, and necessary care.
Why your support matters
Without regular financial contributions, the shelter cannot provide this level of care for Gerda. All funds for her care come exclusively from donations.
